Commonwealth Scholarship Documents Required

The following documents are also required to be submitted when applying for commonwealth scholarship

  1. A full transcript displaying all your qualifications gained from higher education. This should also contain an up to date transcripts of the courses you are studying currently. Transcripts should be written in English language or other certified translations.
  2. A proof that you are a citizen or you posses a refugee status in an eligible commonwealth country.
  3. References from at least two persons via an email clearly showing the senders details. References can also be mailed via other means but must contain on institutional letter head.

NOTE: Applications are made through the CSC’s online application system.

Applicants are also adviced to apply to one of the nominating agencies listed below as well as to the CSC. Nominating agencies will then put forward applicants to the CSC.

The CSC will not accept direct applications for these scholarships.

  2. Selected non-governmental organisations and charitable bodies

Please do note that nominating agencies oversees  their own selection process and may have additional criteria for eligibility.

Candidates should enquire from the nominating agency to get specific advice and rules for applying, and to know their criteria for eligibility. Nominating agencies may set their closing date for applications too.
